This past Saturday evening, Kristin and I were able to attend the Diamond in the Rough Annual Gala as part of the kick off to the Buick Invitational. This elegant evening is a benefit for Pro Kids Golf and the Monarch School (where Kristin teaches) held annually at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in downtown San Diego.The evening begins with a silent auction/cocktail hour and moves into a fabulous dinner and charity auction. Last year's entertainment was
Trisha Yearwood and this year was Tonight Show host, Jay Leno. We feel blessed that we again were invited to attend as part of the Monarch Family, and the evening was a huge success! Many generous donors contributed to both of these outstanding non-profit organizations...
Our menu... consisted of caprese salad, salmon and filet mignon with whipped potatoes, topped off with an amazing creme brulee and cheesecake for dessert!
