Ok So I love making dog portraits!!!

Well... the truth is I do love taking pics of our dogs, but I also love my brand spanking new 24mm Canon lens! Daisy's such a good little model!

Puppy Update

Well they are about 9 months old right now!! The best decision we made... they have brought us so much joy! Unfortunately though, Daisy is going to have surgery soon. We have recently discovered she has one of those lab curses :( She has elbow dysplasia, so our rescue dogs are going to become the most expensive adopted dogs we've heard of! J/K... But, of course they are worth it, because as many of you dog owners know, they are worth any and every penny you spend. Aren't they beautiful? We sure think so!

Erin & Scott

This past Saturday I joined Erin and Scott as they celebrated their wedding in pure San Diego style. Erin and Scott work and live in New York, but wanted to return to Scott's hometown for some great weather and sites as they celebrated their marriage. It was a beautiful day Saturday and that made for a great setting. The wedding was held at Balboa Park, where afterwards we took some time to snap some shots around the park. We then headed to the San Diego Zoo for some more pics and their outstanding wedding reception. I have to say this is one of the coolest places to do a wedding reception, especially if most of your guests are out of town. I have photographed at both the Zoo and Wild Animal Park, and it's such an one of a kind way to celebrate. At the reception, there was time set aside for an animal show where the handlers brought out some amazing animals for the bride, groom, and their guests to enjoy. Erin & Scott are animal lovers, so this was right up their alley. Their facial expressions say it all! I had such a great time with the two of them, they are two of the kindest people one can meet! Meet the Mertz famiy

Gina who owns Glamorous Brides contacted me to shoot a family photo that would double as a holiday card and a new address card. The Mertz family just moved back into town from Texas. We all headed down to Seaside beach in Cardiff to have a little fun.

Andrea & Ty

This past Thursday I joined Andrea and Ty as they celebrated their marriage in an intimate ceremony at the San Diego Temple in La Jolla. An absolutely beautiful couple, Andrea and Ty were a true joy to photograph. We took some traditional/formal shots at the church and then headed down to Windansea Beach in La Jolla to do some portraits of the two of them.
