Loren & Joe ~ Engaged

Location, Location, Location... is that how the saying goes? Well, last Saturday we had a great time shooting the engagement session of Loren and Joe. We met Loren just over a year ago when I had the opportunity to do some event work for Taylormade/Adidas. So, when it was time for Loren and Joe to start planning their wedding, I was so blessed that they chose us to do their wedding photography. When planning this session, Loren shared she really had a few locations she liked, so rather than choosing one, we decided to hit them all! We started downtown, headed to Seaside Beach, and then finished in a riverbed... (that's all I'll disclose, it's a our new secret spot ;0 ) Loren and Joe were fabulous "models", as you can see they were smoking hot! They really wanted more of fashion/edgy shoot, so we went for that look! Take a look below.... & enjoy!

Cathy & Harvey ~ Engaged

A couple of weekends back I met with Cathy and Harvey in downtown to do their engagement session. When Kristin and I met with them for their first consultation, we knew they were going to be so much fun! Cathy and Harvey found us from one of last year's couples Athena and John... We're so honored they chose us to do their wedding! We spent about an hour and a half cruising around downtown, and came upon this great little hidden courtyard near the ballpark! Cathy and Harvey were so easy to photograph, as they both really like pics and were quite comfortable in front of the camera. Impromptu: Scotty & Lydia

Wednesday, I shot a quick e-session for Scotty & Lydia at Taramar Beach in Carlsbad. They are getting married on Saturday and need a few quick shots... Congrats guys, have a great honeymoon!

Kate's Newborn Session

Last week I joined Ryan and Brooke at their home for Kate's first photo shoot. Kate is the apple of their eyes and she already has that ability to melt her daddy's heart. It's such an honor to take pictures of a couple's first baby because their is just so much emotion wrapped up in this new period of their lives. Kate has amazing eyes and for being just under two months old, she was already so expressive. I was also able to get some shots of her beautiful nursery... No question she's a girl ;) Here is a slide show that I put together. I can't wait to continue to watch Kate grow up and to be able to capture those memories for Brooke and Ryan. Enjoy!
